To qualify to receive access to the Website and/or Services, subject to the requirements set forth in our Terms of Service we gather personal information from you in order to begin your application to PN. This information may include, but is not necessarily limited to, your first and last name, e-mail address, postal mailing address, mobile telephone number and other demographic information, as well as credit/debit card information for payment and/or age verification purposes (collectively, “Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU SUPPLY US WITH VALID, COMPLETE, CURRENT AND ACCURATE PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION; SUCH PII WILL BE USED TO SUPPLY THE SERVICES TO YOU AND TO COLLECT PAYMENT FOR SUCH SERVICES (WHERE APPLICABLE). Notwithstanding that your telephone number may be listed on the Federal Trade Commission’s Do-Not-Call List, the Company retains the right to contact you via telemarketing in accordance with the Rule. To the extent that your credit card-specific information and/or social security number is collected by the Company, said information will be transmitted securely, kept in confidence and will not be shared with any third parties (other than third party service providers – such as payment processors – who provide services to the Company and/or consumer credit agencies) without your prior informed consent. In addition, by submitting your credit card information to us, you authorize the Company to periodically verify by various methods that your credit card account continues to be valid and active, including, without limitation, charging and thereafter immediately crediting a small sum to the credit card. Apart from the foregoing uses, the Company and its affiliates and/or subsidiaries reserve the right to share with third parties the fact that we/they have credit card information on file for you, but such specific credit card information shall not be shared by us/them with any third parties without your prior authorization

16. Cancellation & Refund Policy

A: Membership Refund/Cancellation:

  • The Paramedic Network (PN) reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the PN.
  • If PN refuses a new or renewing membership, registrants will receive a refund.

During the renewal process each year, members must attest to continued eligibility for membership based on the criteria of the membership requested.

B: Membership Cancellation by Participant

  • Each payment for membership contains a non-refundable $10 administration fee.
  • New Membership cancellation (Initial memberships) received within 3 days of registration may be eligible for a full refund less the $10 administration fee plus 50% service fee.
  • Membership renewals do not qualify for refund, $0.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Membership cancellations will be accepted via email.
  • All refund requests must be made by the member or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the member and/or transaction number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card or method used for payment.
  • All benefits and incentives received by the participant must be cancelled/returned to PN.

The above policies apply to all PN memberships unless otherwise noted in the corresponding organization and program materials. Please read all individual organization and program information thoroughly.

C: Event Cancellation by Sponsor

  • PN reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances, making the event non-viable.
  • If PN cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
  • Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

D: Registration Cancellation by Participant

  • Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 14 business days before the event.
  • Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a $20 service fee.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
  • Cancellations, accepted via e-mail, must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number.
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card or method used for payment.

These above policies apply to all PN organization events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.

E: PN Goods Refund/Return:

  • All returns of goods and materials purchased directly from the Paramedic Network and PN organizations require prior authorization.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable,
  • Returns must be authorized by PN within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • If within thirty (30) days of purchase; replacement, substitution or repair, will be at our sole discretion, for any PN product that is deemed defective.
  • Products provided/sold by PN member organizations and affinity programs are subject to the return policy of the individual organization or program.

17. Class Recordings

The Paramedic Network may record meetings, live classroom presentations, virtual webinars, courses, and conferences. Recordings may be available to all Paramedic Network students as they are intended to supplement an educational experience. Students are expected to follow appropriate Paramedic Network policies and maintain the security of passwords used to access recorded lectures and educational events. Recordings may not be published, reproduced, or shared with those not listed in the Paramedic Network student database, or uploaded to other online environments except to implement a pre-approved Student Disability Service accommodation. Student registration and participation in any Paramedic Network educational opportunity confirm FERPA consent as stated when compliance is necessary for the US Department of Education. The storage of educational recordings may only be stored on Paramedic Network-approved devices and servers.

I hereby permit the Paramedic Network to record my image, likeness, and/or voice on a Recording and release education records that consist of my voice or likeness as I participate in these classes or events. I am consenting to allow these materials to be used for educational purposes, including review and/or for the education of other students. The recording may also be made as an accommodation approved by Student Disability Services to a student with a disability. I understand that I will receive no money or remuneration of any kind from any Recordings and hereby release the Paramedic Network, its governing board, officers, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the Recording. I acknowledge that I do not have the right to approve any materials developed by the Paramedic Network as authorized.
